Sukriti's Diagnosis and Treatment

Sukriti was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL) in December 22, 2024. Her induction chemotherapy as per UK-ALL 2011 Regimen A was started on December 26, 2024 at Kanti Children's Hospital, Maharajgunj, Kathmandu, Nepal.

During her treatment under 3rd maintenance, CSF cytology dated March 13, 2026 smears showed sparsely cellular and scattered atypical looking lymphoid cells. Which were enlarged having high nuclear to cytoplasmic ratio, fine dispersed chromatin, scant cytoplasm and consipicuous nucleoli.

Her case is of very early combined relapse of B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (B-ALL). She is currently undergoing treatment at Fortis Memorial Research Institute (FMRI), Gurugram, Haryana, India. She needs salvage chemotherapy and immunotherapy followed by a bone marrow transplant.
